From rebrand to digital lead: a holistic partnership with lasting impact

For more than 40 years, Beta Systems Software AG has been a leading provider of IT solutions for enterprises with complex infrastructures. Customers across financial services, industry, retail and IT services worldwide rely on Beta Systems’ products. With around 700 employees and a broad portfolio ranging from Identity Access Management and Workload Automation to Observability and Log Management, Beta Systems is recognised as one of Europe’s market leaders in enterprise IT.

Briefing

The starting point was an outdated brand identity and an ageing website built on WordPress. The aim was to reposition Beta Systems visually, bring greater clarity to its product world, and create a more engaging digital experience. Alongside a complete corporate rebrand, the company required a fully reimagined website that would underline its market leadership and innovative strength.

Concept & Implementation

The project began with a kick-off workshop to define brand values, design principles and target audiences.

  • Development of a new corporate logo and a consistent brand architecture
  • Design of unified product logos with a dedicated colour concept for each category
  • Roll-out across all brand assets, including business stationery, exhibition stands, a brand video (with logo reveal), PowerPoint templates, product sheets and flyers

At the same time, we carried out a complete website relaunch:

  • Migration from WordPress to Storyblok as a modern headless CMS
  • A new UX and UI design, including both dark and light modes
  • Introduction of a bespoke SVG animation language for categories and product areas – together with the colour coding, this creates a strong visual identity and recognition factor
  • Intuitive navigation, interlinked content and a comprehensive resources section featuring white papers, webinars and employee interviews
  • A dedicated investor relations area with all relevant information
  • Product pages designed with generous layouts and strong visual elements
  • Microanimations throughout the site for a dynamic, contemporary user experience

As part of the relaunch, we also trained the Beta Systems content team to manage and expand content independently in Storyblok.

Result

The project represented a significant step forward in Beta Systems’ brand and digital strategy. The corporate identity, product logos, marketing and trade fair materials, and the new website now form a unified and powerful brand presence. The website stands out with its modern design, distinctive animations and clear, intuitive user guidance.

Since go-live, we have supported Beta Systems as Digital Lead Agency. Under a framework agreement, we continue to manage and evolve the platform, delivering new campaigns and product launches, designing landing pages, supporting digital event initiatives, and creating presentations and sales materials. In addition, we provide ongoing consultancy and governance for the digital brand strategy.
